Nickel Alloy Threaded Flanges are normally made of Inconel, Hastelloy, or Monel alloys with high nickel content (up to 70%) supplemented with chromium, iron, and molybdenum for better properties. These flanges provide tensile strength between 620–960 MPa and yield strength of 240–450 MPa based on the alloy. They have stability at high temperature and are resistant to oxidizing and reducing agents. They are ideal for high-performance systems due to good thermal conductivity, fatigue strength, and resistance to corrosion caused by chlorides. Due to their threaded format, they can be fitted quickly without the use of welding, particularly in hazardous or explosive areas.
