Alloy 20 Slip On Flanges are constructed using a nickel-iron-chromium alloy containing nickel (32–38%), chromium (19–21%), molybdenum (2–3%), and copper (3–4%). These elements offer superior resistance to sulfuric acid, chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking, and general pitting. Mechanically, they provide at least 551 MPa tensile and 241 MPa yield strength, along with ductility and impact properties. Slip–on design enables the insertion of pipes inside the flange prior to welding, so pipes are simple to position and install—well suited to moderate-pressure operations and frequent maintenance.
