Titanium Long Weld Neck Flanges are made from Grade 2 or Grade 5 titanium. Grade 2 provides excellent corrosion resistance, especially in seawater and acidic conditions, with a tensile strength around 345 MPa and great ductility. Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) offers much higher strength, with tensile values up to 895 MPa and remarkable fatigue and heat resistance. Both grades are lightweight, non-magnetic, and stable at high temperatures. The extended neck spreads mechanical stress evenly, while the material’s low thermal expansion and good weldability ensure lasting performance under tough operating conditions.
