Copper Nickel Forged Flanges are crafted from Cu-Ni 90/10 (UNS C70600) or 70/30 (UNS C71500) alloys. The 90/10 grade consists of 90% copper and 10% nickel, while the 70/30 grade boasts higher strength with 30% nickel. Both alloys contain trace amounts of iron and manganese to boost corrosion resistance. The forged flanges exhibit a superior grain structure, resulting in enhanced tensile strength (275–520 MPa), yield strength (70–150 MPa), and ductility. These mechanical properties, along with exceptional resistance to seawater corrosion, biofouling, and stress cracking, make them ideal for challenging operating conditions.
