Stainless Steel 321H Flanges have a higher carbon content (0.04–0.10%) than SS 321 and are made up of 17–19% chromium, 9–12% nickel, and titanium (≥5 times the carbon content). This extra carbon improves creep resistance and strength at high temperatures. The material’s yield strength is 240 MPa, its tensile strength is approximately 585 MPa, and its elongation is approximately 40%. Up to 900°C, SS 321H retains its structural integrity. It provides both mechanical durability and resistance to intergranular corrosion, making it especially appropriate for welded structures subjected to constant high heat.
